B (manual or automatic car)

• Car not exceeding 3,500 kg (m.m.a.) and 9 persons (including driver)
• Trailer not exceeding 750 kg (a.i.m.)
• Trailer exceeding 750 kg (m.m.a.), only if the maximum authorized weight of
  the combination (car + trailer) does not exceed 3,500 kg (m.m.a.).
• Moped (50 cm)
• Tractor
• Self-propelled machine not exceeding 12,000 kg
• Quadricycle

Minimum training :

• Theory: 12 hours (6 hours if already licensed)
• Practical: 16 hours

Required documents :

• Recent passport photo (front view), 45 x 35mm format
• Recent medical certificate (less than 3 months old)
• Recent extract from the criminal record if the applicant has reached the age of majority at the time of submitting
  the application.
• Extract from the criminal record of the country of origin if residence in Luxembourg
  is less than 5 years.
• The application must be signed by the applicant, or by a parent or guardian.
